Rabat - Supported by the Canadian organization Giving Lens, three organizations will stage a workshop on the art of digital photography on October 13-14 in Marrakech.
The two-day event aims to enhance budding photographers’ potential and support their artistic passion. It also aims to promote cultural exchange and contribute in developing the Moroccan community.
The workshop will include both artistic and cultural themes such as orientations for photography equipment and the theme of cultural exchange.
Expert and professional photographers founded Giving Lens, they aim to offer international travel photography workshops and assist novice photographer to polish their efforts. They will partner with three Marrakech organizations, El Fenn Maroc, Creative Interactions and Open Doors Morocco, to organize the event.
The three organizations will launch a program for ten percent of the participants that will benefit from travels across the kingdom and contract with a fully licensed transport company. They will also donate digital cameras to the participants during the course of the extended program, which lasts for several months.
After ending the two-day event in Marrakech, the organizers will stage other events in other areas in the kingdom.
