Stay overnight in the Sahara desert

To assure yourself of an absolutely incredible memory on your trip, not just as part of your Moroccan adventure, but for a truly once in a lifetime experience you should definitely head out to the magical Sahara Desert. There are many tours of this breath-taking sandscape, some of which allow you to even spend the night in the desert. The Atlas Mountains is a vast mountain range and one that stretches across parts of Algeria, Tunisia and of course Morocco. And from the great Moroccan city of Marrakesh you can head on a special tour and trek across the 3 valleys in the region, namely Ourika Valley, Asni Valley and Oukaimeden Valley. There are secluded mountain range road routes that will take you right through some typical Berber village life and there are even 7 stunning waterfalls to see on your visit.
