Rabat - K’lma is set to perform a concert this week in Salle Bahnini.
Salle Bahnini will host the Indie, pop and rock band K’lma on Wednesday March 30th at 9:00pm, in a concert organized by DABATEATR, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture.
K’lma is a Moroccan band that debuted over a decade ago. While most of their songs are in the Arab dialect, they do sing occasionally in Spanish as well. The band had huge success in 2004, when they were featured on the soundtrack of Bouchra Ijork’s movie “The bitter orange.”
The movie soundtrack included two of the band’s songs, “Warda ala warda” and “Kif lemeani,” and afterwards both became became massive hits, raising the band to fame.
The musical repertoire of K’lma, is known for its incredible richness. From rock vibes to flamenco music, with hints of Latino dance rhythms and colorful pop beats, K’lma takes us on a journey to wonderful imaginary lands where music and harmony reign.
As part of “Blanates of DABATEATR,” this concert is one of many that will be hosted in Salle bahnini, in an effort to show support for Moroccan talents, and introduce the public to a wide variety of arts and cultures.
